5G owner from Germany saying hello!
Re: 5G owner from Germany saying hello!
Thank you guys for the very warm welcome and also for your commendations of my car and my English as well
I have searched for such a car throughout the country and even considered to take a closer look at an Austrian 5th gen Prelude but finally decided to go for this one which I bought from an older gentleman who was the first owner of this vehicle. He sold it via his Honda dealer near Duisburg and I took it with me to where I live in the Karlsruhe region. The car was in a garage throughout its life and will be protected like this also in the future since we do have a Mercedes 190 as a daily.
In fact it seems to me as if the Prelude community is more active in the UK in comparison to Germany, but maybe this is because you can drive RHD Preludes directly from Japan without having to worry about any issues when entering parking garages etc..
Just in case anyone can give me a hint where I could get some parts I mentioned (honeycomb grill, carbon interieur etc.) for a reasonable price I would be very grateful, especially since I may have a chance to get these things brought to me by a friend of mine who regularly commutes to Germany by car

The carbon interior would be ok for the centre console bits from a UKDM, but the door card (window switches) would be no good for you I'm afraid.
They'll need to come from somewhere else in mainland Europe or the states, or you could get your existing trims hydro-dipped with a carbon fibre finish?
