Many thanks everyone, for your responses- I really wasn't expecting anything like it!! I feel all overcome!...
I am compiling a little list of questions, which I shall post soon, when I have done some checking of various 'likely suspects'
that might be the cause of pretty flat performance until the Vtec wakes up, and even then, it just aint 187 brake.
The car is an auto; (my left arm has seen better days), but even so...
P.S Sailor- I am actually close to jct. 18 of the M25.
