Hey james welcome to the forum mate.

but for the little bit of bubbling on the arches jims gold one is pretty minty. It was pulling on sam's type S last years on way back from the drive out :o :lol: :oops: :oops:

same engine as the type S just as young as it can be on a T plate and its fully loaded with all the comforts. Good service history and loads of work done as i remember. It was the best one on the market at the time and we spent o ver the odds for it but it was worth it.

Reckon a grand/900 would see it sold and its got new tax and mot on it. needs the cam bung replaced (spare available) and the rear springs were chopped but again a new set of APEX lowering springs are available with it.

To be honest These are tiny issues but they will do you well in the haggle and you could offer him a price with the work done and one without quite a bit lower and I reckon he''ll cave.

Buy it! i want it off the drive ! :lol:
6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.

I was quoted £1295. That wasn't even in the right ball park to start a discussion in my book.

Just to confirm what LLL says about the car though;
It needs both arches (passenger one not showing yet and probably won't even start to show for another year if you want to put it off) the springs swapping for the new Apex's sat in the boot, would benefit from a mini brake service on account of being stood (pad/disc/carrier clean, nothing more) but aside from that I didn't have any concerns over it condition-wise from what I saw (static/running inspection without driving).

LLL, it would be good to look through the history and confirm when the cambelt was done (Jim didn't know when I asked).

(also actually advertising it would probably help get it shifted :lol: )
