Anyone know this fits? want to get my ebay bids on!

and cheers for the offer mart! but at that price with the warranty, might just be the safer option, plus taking into account fuel to get to u and back, id only be saving a few quid. However, you got any other parts? :D

looking at the current one, i wonder where the hell he was driving, looks like half of a sugar cane plantation has found its way between the condenser and rad!

Edit - Well ive gone and bought my gasket kit and rad, so hopefully i can get this thing running happily soon enough!

Ive been hunting the forums, trying to get an idea of what my standard idle rpm should be on this lude. now when i start it up it goes to about 1500rpm, which i THINK is normal. unfortunatley, it just sits there, until it starts doing its hunting trick. im sure this is too high, and was thinking about adjusting this by using the idle screw.

my questions are -

Where is the idle screw?

and, should i bother with doing this until the gasket and rad have been replaced, incase this is a symptom because of the cooling being crap atm?

If it idles about 800 on initial start but then starts climbing towards 1500ish as it starts to warm up, it's probably the engine coolant temp sensor. The ECU uses that sensor to control mixture until the lambda sensor is warmed up and working right (then it just uses the lambda sensor). If this sensor isn't working, it doesn't lean the mixture off as the engine warms up and hence, the engine starts to race (until the lambda takes over).

I'd say sort the cooling system out first, then see how it behaves, then if it does what I've described above, you'll need to check that sensor.

cheers for the answer wurly! i agree with you though, sort the cooling system first. i need that running right to get an accurate base point to do any other tunes or mods, dont want to start turning screws or cleaning/switching components just yet. thats the worst thing about this forum! you do a hunt, find about 5 people with similar problems, but different solutions, so start getting ideas that you might need 5 different things done when it might be something simple as hell (like rattys nuts last night  )

Had to buy these last night, i hate the fact someones been wearing down that nice standard carpet!
