Hi new member 5th gen Scotland 😊
Hello everyone.
I'm a new member and thought I would drop in and say hi. I've got a 1999 super marine blue Prelude that gets parked up for a year or 2 here and there but I've had it for a good 8 years. I will get some pics up once I've got it down from the sky and got the bumpers back on .
I will be looking to get some parts to restore it back to normal condition as there is rust underneath towards the back end plus the arches are going to need attention soon too. Whilst I'm here though does anyone know where we can find the frame kit behind the front and rear bumper that holds the registration plate I'm looking for them to renew as the screws are really rusty and the frames are really yellow due to age and would rather I replaced them whilst the bumpers are off?
Apart from that I love my Lude and hope everyone is loving theirs too. Thank you and I'm looking forward to posting up some pics soon.

Hi new member 5th gen Scotland 😊
Thank you Hagland.
I'm currently doing bits and pieces to it. But I will post a pic of what it was like before I parked it ( currently the bumpers are off it and half of the car is in the air waiting for parts ) I will try and attach though. Can someone please point to me how to attach pics on this forum please?

Hi new member 5th gen Scotland 😊
welcome to LG
there are plenty of good quality repair panels available on ebay
sills and rear arches are always the weak spots - on the 5th gen you can get inner and outer arch repair panels
here is a link to ones on ebay

Hi new member 5th gen Scotland 😊
Thank you so much for your Lude love guys I have to admit I've lost my licence in mine quite a few years back and I was told to get rid of it by family members apart from my father who knew that was never going to happen here's a test link but that is my lude. Thank you for the link to the images upload site and the eBay connection too I'm feeling the love. Just out of curiosity do we ever have meets? https://imge.to/i/y2i9PH

I will post up more pics once the bumpers are on and I get some other cosmetic work done too

Hi new member 5th gen Scotland 😊
Pics added below;
Taz, if you click the "embedded codes" tab on the imge.to page and then copy/paste the "BBCode" link into the message body, here, it will show in the message
And yes - we do have meets (when the world is normal!).
Normally these are at the main shows (there's lots of those throughout the year) but there are sometimes also 'mini meets' organised between members around the country. There's a sub-section of the forum about meets
