BB4

Post by BB4-Damo » Wed Mar 22, 2023 8:51 pm

Hi all,

I'm after some help, I have a BB4 and am looking for a complete engine gasket set. I can only find BB1 kits.

Is there a difference between the kits?

I'm also after a M2B4 gearbox if anyone has one for sale

Welcome to LG!! BB4 and BB1 are the chassis codes, if it is listed for a BB1 it will fit a BB4 as they have the same engine.

Hi Damo and welcome.

As Merlin says, the chassis code isn't relevant, you just need to get one for the right engine code.
So if you have an H22, you need an H22 gasket set. If you have an F20A, you need and F20A gasket set etc.

Being a BB4, unless someone has swapped the engine in your car and downgraded it (!)... You'll have an H22A engine. So any H22 gasket set will be fine.
