To be fair, I like hot hatches too and I like the look of that gen of civic.

(But no way over a 4th gen!)

If you can get a Civic handling more light and nimble and as fast and exciting feeling as my latest BB4 I'll be absolutely amazed!!! (and that's before we even talk about comparative cost)

What parts are you saying you can't get with ease for a lude?

Lower strut braces, uprated arb's, uprated brakes, etc..

And you get a much more extensive choice for all bits, cos the market is flooded with them.

You just get more flexibility & options I'd say.

+ Rep to @4th Gen Doug who just offered me a free cambelt & water pump to help get me back on the road. And although, as it turns out, I've already got the aforementioned parts on their way to me, it had to be mentioned.

Thanks mate. :)

As I said in the PM, that's what makes this such a great community. 8-)

You're a gentleman.

:? Brake upgrades and arb's are out there. Is there actually any need for lower strut braces on a lude?

I have to say after driving my latest bb4 with upper braces front/rear and Teins, I'm amazed if you'll actually need anything stiffer than that! The grip and responsiveness is incredible, like driving a go-kart! And that's with standard arb's and 21 year old rubber bushes - and there would still be polybushes and arb's to go!

I've got those items in my watch list on eBay and saved the links for the ARBs on my browser, they are a bit more expensive for the Lude I know but that's what you get for being different
