Its looking like I will start by taking the lower rear window trim off and seeing what I can see under there and re sealing, but I will be removing the rear bumper before long anyway so I will check the drain holes behind there then..
Cheers @bennyboy the rear seat isn't getting wet and there's no water or even damp that I can see in the wheel well so thats a good sign..

Thanks @wurleycorner, its funny you say that, yes the vehicle is parked most nights on a slope withe the rear down hill, when parked the other way obviously there seems no water..
It does have air con, but ive removed all pipe work and gubbins from the engine bay, but I still have the rest of the system under the dash etc... :|
I will whip the scuttle off and investigate when I have chance..

It won't be anything to do with the aircon then 8-)
The front problem does sound like an accumulation of water in the scuttle panel around the blower intake.
