speedo neddle is not lighting up

Hello i am new to the prelude and picked one up yesterday needs a couple of things doing one is the speedo needle is not lighting up i have stripped the clocks down thinking it would be a simple bulb but no bulb , can anyone help thanks

Simple fix. :ugeek:
Feed the dead needle with the power from the good needle, soldering a couple of wires to the PCB, (see picture). ;)

are they el gauges ? if so you need to replace the whole needle assembly if i remember rightly not sure i i have a spare needle assembly.

There may be a how to somewhere with a fix for them without replacing the needle (edit pushki beat me to it) :lol:

The gauges pushki's put up are el gauges, but are dazzle's?

well assuming from his post only el gauges have needles that light up

I assumed dazzle's gauges were EL because the dead needle light is a common fault on that type. :geek:

I've got 2 ludes that have the ordinary dials and I can't say I can remember either way!

(I might get round to fitting one of the 3 sets of EL dials I have, one day...)
