Hope it works out for you.

BTW, I'd suggest putting thread lock on the screw clamp. First time I fitted it, it popped off (helpfully in the middle of a junction of course :lol:)

To be honest I think it was probably more to do with me not having tightened it properly, because where I was fitting it was completely inaccessible with tools, but just in case...

nb: it's been on there for 3 years since with no problems.

How did you get on with fixing the seat @judderod? My new drivers seat won't fold forward or back, neither of the levers move/do anything!

I haven't done anything about it yet mate. The only thing I can make time for on the prelude is the essential stuff this year as we're doing up our place to sell but it's taking forever :(
