- I totally stripped my a couple of years ago after one window fell down into the door and got jammed just as it was starting to rain. Had to drive 70 miles back from work to reach my garage.
I cleaned up the window runners, sorted the alignment a bit and greased them all with Shin Etsu silicon grease and they have been much better ever since. Didn't help that a previous owner seemed to have smeared this chewing-gum paste everywhere behind the doorcard to hold the plastic sheet in place, which was ripped to pieces as well. Still planning to clean that all up and use sound proofing foil to cut down a bit of road noise.
