Re: Rattys T5.1 Chipsaway workhorse
Its a waterbased paint with a 2k lacquer ontop. Will be as durable as anything else.
Same stuff i use on bodywork.
However massive pain in the ass today.
I left all my wheels at my mates garage yesterday and he was going to pass them to the tyre place next door and fit the tyres for me.
It turns out the tyre place like massive bellends they are put all the wheel weights on the front of the wheel and not the backs.
They hammer the weights on the front so you damage the paitn when removing them.
Well they have damaged the whole paint of all 4 wheels.
Arsewipes.
Going to have to respray them again or at least repair just the outer lips.

I never told them to not put the weights on the front. I though it would be common sense. They refuse to pay because the guy did it for cash apparently whilst boss was away.

To be fair, they're steelies, it's perhaps not surprising they didn't think twice about putting weights on the outside lip?
Annoys the drokk out of me when you take an immaculate set of alloys in and they don't think twice about putting weights on the outside though!
