New Daily
Bought Laura a new daily driver today, so that I can have my accord back settled on a Civic in the end. Bit tatty and high on miles, but drives nicely and wasn't harsh on the wallet. Brought my mechanic with me too so fingers crossed it's not a lemon! Anyway, here it is:
jobby photos, sorry
It's an SE Executive so it's nice and comfy inside. Laura spent ages driving it once we got home she's really pleased with it so I'm happy with it!
Here's hoping it goes on for many more miles and costs me drokk all to run

Was thinking on one of these for my missus. Also thought about a cheap basic Jazz. Easy to drive, cheap to run and service. But now she likes the MB style civic.

Re: New Daily
I was on eBay the other day and I thought I'd use the Civic as a test for some eBay tailored mats. And Laura says I never treat her to anything
Anyway they turned up today and I don't think they're bad for £15.99
If they last I may get a set for my other Hondas. They're obviously not as nice as access mats, but I won't feel as bad when I wear through them at least!
As for the actual civic, it's ticking along ok bar a few rattles and a thirst for oil. Once one of the Preludes is finished I'll get the engine out the Civic and do the valve stem seals and piston rings methinks I've seen one driving around locally and the subtle kit really sets it off well.
I'm also after the elusive 5 door hatch side skirts and splitters!! It's a long shot, but does anyone know if they are named something (ie like a bubble kit is on a lude)

I think you have either got the sport kit. Which is on the civic sport, or the type r kit.
EDIT: Come to think of it, i think the sport kit is the type r kit.
EDIT, EDIT : you also have to civic type s. Which is the 2ltr 5door. I am pretty sure that's a different kit.

This is the closest I could find - there's a bloke locally with this kit on a pre-facelift like mine though.
The sport and type r kits won't fit a 5 door They're for EP's only, whereas mine's a familytastic EUThebusofwoe wrote:I think you have either got the sport kit. Which is on the civic sport, or the type r kit.

I've seen the kit on cars lower than the S Spec trim, I think it was an optional extra although it may just be that I've seen it retrofitted on poverty spec motors.
Either way I want the skirts and spoiler It makes the 5 door Civic look less like a blob

No, sadly mine's not a Type-S so I've got the D16V1. My gf does 70 odd miles a day though so a K20 wouldn't be ideal

Ah ok. We see so many of these in each week. Don't generally pay attention to what's on them good point on the ep3 ect. Didn't think of that I am sure you will find a kit.
