Re: andyconnollys '98 S-Spec
Right the Lude is off for an MOT this week coming, missed it too much after driving it the other day.
The Plan for now is basically just get it through the MOT and funds depending maybe get the rebuild done, its a garage i used to use till we had a fall out but they offered to do some work for me so thought why hold a grudge. They dont tend to do mods to cars so not sure if they would be happy doing the manifold and thottle body swap but no harm in asking. Going to try and get th atr carriers and calipers done this week (would be easier if i wasnt on 12 hour nightshifts
)
Hoping to make the summer meets and it wouldnt be the same attending without the Lude.
If it all goes well and it passes the MOT I'll be sticking 6months tax on it and getting it insured, and hopefully get some work done to it in the garage, i think i'll respray the bonnet, got all the stuff sitting in my parents garage but the weather went extremely scottish before i got the chance to
(yea the garage isnt big enough for the car to go in so would be leaving it outside without a bonnet for a day or 2 so need the decent weather
May also have a few wee surprises lined up but will need to see how things go on the important bits first.

Re: andyconnollys '98 S-Spec
Cars still not been mot'd yet
Anyone know if i was to swap out my intake manifold and Throttle body for the skumk2 ones i have sitting here would the car need mapped right away ?
The current manifold has those idle control butterfly valve things in it so not sure if that would make a difference ?
