No worries.
I can confirm that's right. I have just had a quick look at a write up I saved in my favourites for when I get around to it.

Well today was full of ups and downs, the car was meant to get the brakes done the other day and a new tyre then MOT'd. Today I got a phone call from the garage with good news, they had found ATR carriers and brakes were done with new tyre and the red muteki wheel nuts fitted. A short while later I phoned back to see when to pick the car up but they then hit me with a bombshell, they failed it for emissions and said they were way too high for them to even think about bodgin it. And that they wouldn't get to look at it till Monday. So In a panic I phoned my pal who works at a large garage in Glasgow who used to do my MOTs and guess what they are open on Saturdays and the car is booked in tomorrow, he said he always has problems finding the right pipe ( ) and he's sure it will pass soooooo THE LUDE WILL BE AT MODIFIED LIVE ON SUNDAY :D :D

Well some of you know already but the lude is in the police pound. Was driving it up for the MOT with it booked in so perfectly legal with no tax or MOT etc but nop police pulled me and said no insurance so 6points and a £200 fine, basically told them to shove it and i would see them in court. SOOO.... i also have to pay £150 to get it out the pound, however my friendly MOT tester knows the owner who will charge me 150 infront of the police then refund me

Ass holes. Sorry to hear that man. It's surprising how many police don't know that it's legal to drive to a pre-booked MOT. I've had arguments with them about it before.

What is making them say no insurance? Are they claiming your insurance is invalid because the car has no mot, or because it isn't showing on their system as being insured?

Yea the insurance company said its temp insurance thing for going to MOT as i didnt have a policy on it. I phoned them to add it onto my existing policy and they went through it all. but police are saying no insurance and invalid etc etc.

The garage had said i wouldnt get insurance on it without an MOT as it would bounce with no MOT on the records so thats why i phoned them.
