:? We noticed an extra green plug on the loom where the distributor plugs in and our only explanation was that it could have been auto loom.

the air meter sits just below and slightly further back between the battery and disti - so its in the right area

That is the VTEC solenoid with the green connector in your pic. I have my VTEC solenoid connected as well as my ECU coolant temp sensor. This is an "extra" green connector :?

Temp sensor for the early h22a2 from the top rad hose out let at the engine. Is it a round 2 pin plug?

Exactly that ^^^^ extra sensor on those engines (which I'd forgotten about when I sent you that loom TBH   )
The engine it came off is about as early as they come!

Nice, that explains that. It makes no difference. The connector just sits there 8-)

New safety regs for this year means that I needed a new helmet to go with my HANS device. I got a V2 Super-Vent HANS helmet to go with my HANS III.

The HANS system is designed to work with up to 3" shoulder straps, however it is reported that it is more comfortable with 2" shoulder straps. I'm not swapping my harness at the moment even though it is 3".
