Interesting, looking at those pics, I hadn't considered how that might work with the dust shields behind the discs... Have you left them on there/did you have to bend them at all, or do they have to come off?

I just bent them back a little. They will still cover most of the disc.

Me and 3rd Gen Steve fixed a few bits on the car last night. I fixed my front fog lights, they hadnt worked in ages, and Steve replaced my distributor o-ring.

He Merlin,
Fogs are cool... 8-) but whats with the spagetti light panel? The wiring should be there already! looks a bit messy..
Also they shouldn't work without the side/dim lights on.. :geek:

Good job on the brake setup BTW. and smart tire choice in the UK ;)

They weren't working because when I installed them I used 2 of those crappy clip connectors to join 2 wires. I had to go back and do it properly by soldering them

It may look a mess but it isnt ;) I have a UK car that didn't have OEM fogs so I had to make the wiring myself as all I got was OEM fogs and the JDM switch. I wired it so that I could use the front fogs without the head lights needing to be on.

I changed the front engine mount over today. I thought it was split.

I had to get the radiator out of the way to get the mount out.

From where I could squeeze my head in I could see that it wasn't in the best of shape, I didn't know that massive split was there though. Plus due to the age of the car I would have bet on it being knackered :D
