The problems with NA builds are mainly the costs to gains ratio i think....
to get the car running really decent power for an NA build is a lot of money on parts where the power would peak at probably not much over 250bhp if your lucky.
If i was to spend a bit extra and do the turbo build properly or even supercharge it, i would see the power i want all be it for more money but i think it would be money better spent ??

ive not really done any serious power mods before, just had the turbo plans for my old civic....so any input would be greatly appreciated

We don't have a NOS'd lude on the forum these days, do we...
Good call!

(incidentally, did an insurance check on that epic lude yesterday and it's not insured anymore, so doesn't bode well  )

Low pressure turbo on high compression engine = win.
It's all in the tune at the end of the day.

NOS....Iv always hated the idea. Seriously no point in it.

how effective is this though? i always thought the lower the engine comp to a certain extent the better it is for turbo'n

Its different i many ways. High compression with turdbo pressure usually means retarding the timing and trying to avoid detonation/ping.
Low the compression means you can avoid the ping to an extend and add more pressure to the cylinder.
Our piston rings are made cheese.....cheese melts. So you have to be carefull not to have too much advance in timing or too lean a mixture.

But again it depnds on the tune and other factors. 9-10:1 compression pistons will work fine. You might aswell sleeve the block too and run around 10-15psi on a turdbo.

Just supercharge it. Cool people have superchargers....cool people also dont install them. ill be running 6psi. Actually hoping it will be closer to 5psi with my hytech header.

A JRSC is a direct bolt on.

All you will need is
Maybe higher capacity fuel pump, larger jizzer squirters and a mappable ecu. You can use a standalone hondata where I'm stuck with the greddy e manage ultimate piggy back.
