Re: Supercharged 5th Gen 2.2 Motegi
Cheers, Im quite surprised there were no advisories. Its only done 600 miles since its last MOT in January 2012.
Apart from the brakes, the CAT was refitted, the wiper blades were replaced, washer jet unblocked and a headlight bracket fixed. Oh and a sidelight and indicator bulb decided to play up the night before when I was doing a final check.
Thats it insured and taxed now.
Looking forward to taking it out later on tonight for a run.

Re: Supercharged 5th Gen 2.2 Motegi
I fitted the standard and aftermarket S2000 wheels to it last week just out of interest to see how they both looked.

Yeah I quite liked the 16's too but they need new tyres on two of the wheels. They also need spacers as they touch the suspension arm running up from the hub to the upper arm.
Are you running spacers Donald?

No spacers, I'm running fronts on all four corners as it's just the rears that rub because of the offset IIRC.JDM-BB4 wrote:Yeah I quite liked the 16's too but they need new tyres on two of the wheels. They also need spacers as they touch the suspension arm running up from the hub to the upper arm.

Re: Supercharged 5th Gen 2.2 Motegi
Got a replacement intake pipe for less than I was finding 14+ year old Oem replacements for.
I put a small breather filter on the rocker cover as well.
Picked up a couple of chrome exhaust trims from ebay to tidy up the back a little.
Changed the engine oil, coolant and gearbox oil since it hadn't been changed in at least 2 years.
I have also started to something about the Milano pink paintwork.
I thought the roof was pretty tricky, but that was before I attempted the boot spoiler!
