A lot of car for the money indeed.
If he fixes the issues and keeps it for 3-5 years. I'm sure he will get double/triple of what he paid.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

How strange. That was the exact number I had in mind when I enquired about it at the national and was quoted silly...lewd lude lover wrote:He does. Its gone to its new owner for the grand total of £850 and may it do him well.

What a shame it'll be stripped though

i dont think 1300 is silly money for this car at all and 850 is a steal. problem was you were talking to the monkey at the meet not me. If i had my way it would have gone for 1300 months ago but jim is too useless.
It not a shame at all imho as the person who looked at it and actually bought it can do what they like with it.
I think its a heavy beast fully loaded so it just gets faster.
I'll tell you what though, thats the first time i have driven a lude in ages and the power curve of the bimmer is MUCH more usable and pokey. You can use each gear longer in the lude but it feels like it takes so much longer to wind up.
