I think it's a fair price if he has fixed all the issues (knock sensor etc).

Don't think the spigot bush (?) issue is sorted, but knock sensor has been done.
Cosmetic issues look like they've been done.
Do you think 2.5k a fair price then?

Very confusing...

So this is a different seller but the new seller is still claiming that he's been the owner since 2006? :?

Nice to see several of the things have been fixed, though as you say, worrying no mention of the clutch having been done (the biggest problem it had). If if had been bought for £1700, had the other things fixed (but not the clutch) then putting it back up for its current price would see this owner a tidy profit!

Otherwise, very nice car.

At first I was slightly gutted not to have waited around a bit longer and bought a Type-S, but looking at it, it looks like he's trying to shift it on in a not greatly improved shape from when he bought it.
Plus, he's stolen the original description, claims to be the owner from 2006, just too many bits point towards it being a massive no-no.
£1300 > £2500 is a massive jump in very little time.

The cars still worth close to what he's asking at the end of the day it's a type S. it's a 1997 car at end of the day things will need changing or updating.

Until someone see the car running you won't really know he might be under selling the car as in thinking the problems are worse then they might be , but at 2.5k it's too big a gamble.

£2k is much better, but have to bear in mind the cost for the clutch still...
