Black JDM 5G BB6 £1500
Black JDM 5G BB6 £1500
I'm selling my Honda Prelude Japanese import.
I bought it in January - here's the original advert
http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/prelude ... t9945.html
Since then, I've replaced the following parts:
Front droplinks (only advisory on 2013 MOT)
New battery
Changed gearbox oil
Full service
Two new front tyres
New MOT with only one advisory (corroded fuel pipe)
It's still in great condition mechanically and cosmetically, all credit goes to the previous owner who did the following work to it in his possession:
- Both rear arches cut and fully replaced, along with both sills cut and replaced. This was all done by my local bodyshop (Chelmsford Accident Repair Specialists) who I have been using for years.
The job they did was brilliant. All the new bodywork has been painted and looks like new. This includes both rear quarter panels and sills, boot panel and passenger side door, as this was replaced with an entirely new door.
99% of pin dents were also sucked out by the bodyshop.
- All 4 discs and corresponding pads have been replaced with new OEM replacement items.
- Drivers side handbrake cable was replaced with a new item as the old one was worn.
- Exhaust rubber hangers were replaced due to being worn.
- Red Mats were added to the interior to complete the Red Interior.
- Ignition and all door locks/barrels have been replaced as the original ignition barrel was very worn. All work perfectly.
- Gauges fully converted to read in MPH and clock over in miles for mileage. Original gauges were still KMH gauges with an aftermarket MPH fascia on the Speedo. As a result previous mileage has been recorded in miles for MOT's, but I have checked and tested the gauges and they 100% clock over in KM.
- Oil change, oil filter change.
- Dash wiring for headunit re-wired. The previous owner had cut and spliced all the wires and hard-wired a headunit in place, which didnt work. I have reverted it back to a normal ISO plug fitment so, unless your fitting a Honda Headunit, means you won't need to buy an adapter
"Original mileage on the car was 115,697 KM, which equates to 71,890 miles. The new MPH gauges came with 117,913 miles on them (can prove with photos), and they now sit at 119,834 miles. This means overall the car has done 73,811 miles" COPIED FROM PREVIOUS ADVERT.
The mileage now sits on 127,631 meaning it's only on 81,608 miles. The only thing showing it's age is the front bumper which could do with a respray due to a few stonechips. There's another small scratch caused by reversing next to a bush (three really thin lines) it's not deep at all and can be polished out with T Cut.
It's a bit dirty in the photos but when cleaned, it looks nothing like a 17 year old car. It's still a great drive and VTEC engages perfectly. It's only ever been run on super unleaded and I haven't spared any expenses in maintaining this car.
The car is located in Northwood, Middlesex.

Hi, sorry for the extremely late reply, I decided to hang on to the lude for a while.
I'm now selling as I'm going for an electric car lease through my business, a big change from the lude!
Since posting the last advert, I've done another 4000 odd trouble free miles. It's got a tiny scratch on the rear bumper which can be polished out, apart from that there's no changes.
I'd like the car to be gone by the end of March if possible. Price reduced to £1400, no offers at this price as it's still a great car in great condition and I think this is a fair price. Contact number remains the same - 07833 472 249 - text me for any questions or to arrange a viewing.
