Mk3 1989 Honda Prelude 4ws (auto)

Well
The time has come to sell

Image

Original plans was to keep, hence I spent quite a bit of money on my Prelude - including a full respray.

I am moving next month -
So there will be no more garage, no driver nor classic car insurance :(

Have thoroughly enjoyed driving the Prelude throughout my ownership. Only one persistant problem and that was rev counter kept going up and down in gears NEUTRAL and PARK. After paying 2 separate garages to fix, it kept coming back - hopefully its finally fixed now.

Other problems only came about after the full body respray. The bodyshop had removed rear light gaskets, so theg started to leak. I have now put in new gaskets. Old aerial was working fine, but aerial was snapped and I suspect the cause of water leak into the boot wing - so have removed the aerial permanently.

U can find full details of the car under my ownership in the link below:
http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/profile ... 14066.html

The details:
- Mk3 1989 Honda Prelude 4ws (automatic transmission)
- 97,000 miles (will go up slightly as I continue to enjoy driving it on dry days)
- MOT until 4th September, 2015
- 3 previous owners
- part history
- Full respray in Nov 2014
- Spare wheel + Jack
- Leather seats
- I had the car serviced thoroughly in Nov and Dec 2014, this includes:
. Timing Belt
. Auxiluary Belt
. Reset valve clearance
. Power Steering Fluid
. Automatic Transmission Fluid
. Spark Plugs
. New Remote Locking also added
. And more ...

Bad bits:
1. Slight oil leak under engine bay
2. Paint patch in rear carpet (see pic)
3. No Electric Aerial
4. Air con is not cold
5. 2 small rust holes in rear boot wing (have de-rust as much as I can and bone dry)
6. Rust on rear arches (again I have de-rust as much as I can)
7. Driver seat bolster wear and tear

Forum price: £1500 (no offers)

I should be able to supply a replacement carpet for this, if anyone wants it (they'll have to be quick though)
