Ive read so much about today on net about changing atf fluid im confussed now so can someone tell me if ur gearbox has not been changed regular if you change all fluid at once it can cause more harm as it cleans all sludge off an metal filings and blocks everything up so you shud only change a bit at a time :?
if it aint broken your not driving it hard enough

iv looked into it too and theres alot of people saying different things iv just dropped it and topped up but you leave just as much in the system but i read a good idea about disconnecting the hose to the rad and running it and topping it up at the same time so it flushes the whole system right out.

i spent a few hours cleaning out all my solenoids today and its helped but not solved it but its worth a try mate.

i should be fitting a new box soon and il be stripping my old one to find out what was wrong and rebuilding it.
no harm in having a spare just in case

Really impressed with your dedication here IOW, unfortunately you've been extremely unlucky and not had the best introduction to lude ownership, so well done for sticking with!
