Fuel Leak

Post by jjmartin349571 » Sat Nov 23, 2013 11:23 am

Hi folks,

I've got a fuel leak on my 2nd gen unfortunately. Petrol seeps out from where the fuel line has been reconnected to the fuel rail, when the system is pressurised. I've tightened the bolt to the correct torque setting, so I'm not really sure what's wrong. It wasn't leaking prior to being taken apart :? Are there seals that need replacing as a matter of course on these, or do I just need to tighten things up more? Here's a pic for reference

Any advice greatly appreciated as I can't fire the car up until I sort this :(

Cheers,
Josh

Cheers merc, I've got some copper ones out in the garage so I'll go check if they'll fit. That didn't even cross my mind
