Ok where to start...
With the kind help of an andy pont in 2014 we changed the analoge dash out of my 94 lude with a digital dash out of a 95 lude, we thought everything was fine but on driving off the abs light came on and when indicating with the doors closed the hazard lights came on inside the car but worked fine on the outside of the car, but open the door and the indicators work fine.
Also the interior light doesnt go out when you close the doors and the rear window heater gets so hot it can burn you.
So Ive lived with the electrical faults but now i have the issue that i cant get the car through the mot because the ABS light that did come on when you started driving is now solid on as soon as you start the car and doesnt go out.
Its been solid on after i have removed the whole abs unit and taken it apart cleaned it out and put it back together, i did this becuase the abs stopped working and i need to get it through the MOT, because the light was on so it failed.
My confusion is that after removing it and cleaning it out when it had error code 1, it cleared code 1 and now i have 1-2.
I dont know if this is electrical or if the abs unit if drokked or if its something else? HELP!! Or is it electrical?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Weird that you've had so many of those faults turn up just from swapping the dash...
How did you do the swap? Did you transplant the full dash loom? Or what?
I think you'll probably have to plough through them all, to be sure to get to the bottom of what is actually causing the ABS one?
What is that code btw? (don't have the manual to hand)

Well I originally had this code:wurlycorner wrote:Weird that you've had so many of those faults turn up just from swapping the dash...

1 Hydraulic pump motor over-run (contact BBA)
So I took it off and cleaned it out in hope that it would fix it but it's gone from the abs light only coming on when you set off to permanently on solid as soon as the car starts up, also the error code has now changed from 1 to the following
1-2 Hydraulic pump motor(contact BBA)
