Best place round west midlands for timing belt change

Post by benthebratt » Fri Jun 03, 2016 8:28 pm

Hi everyone, as the cosmetics of my Lude are nearly done, giving some attention towards the ludes engine. Ain't sure when the timing belt was done last so its the first thing I'm looking to get don't, I've heard that its best to swap the automatic tension with a ktune manual one ? Where is the best bplace to get the cwmbelt done. Also any other maintance jobs engine wise I can do and where to get them done? E.g value adjustment?

Many thanks

If you are running a standard engine, stick with the auto tensioner. No need to change to a manual one.

Cheers for that Iain, as I've heard many people say get manual . do you think I'd be able to do the value adjustment myself ?

Personally I'd go to performance autoworks in fairford.
Excellent service.
