Ok...just been for a drive listening and feeling as best as I can and I can feel a knock through the steering wheel too.
Also I used Honda mtf3 in the gearbox is that not good enough?

Not sure on that, all I know is both my preludes suffer with a tap or knock, as or just before clutch engages. Not sure this is same as your problem. I changed my gearbox fluid in one lude, and after some mileage the issue is at least much redued. In fact have not noticed it for some time.

Honda MTF is fine. Did you do your brakes yet? It could be them.

Hopefully it is something like your pads rattling in the carriers, which can happen and give a clucking noise when going on/coming off the power like when you change gear.

Left field, but check your front engine mount is ok and the downpipe bracket on the back of the engine are intact.
