Yep, custom silicone tubing, or silicone tubing with 'off the shelf' silicone tube size adapters?
Can you not put your previous intake back on for the clutch change to give you some more time to get a proper custom silicone jobber made up?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

No. Its because its a Type S. ATTS has to be removed. So does the crossmembers, exhaust and engine mounts.bb1boy wrote: Good luck on the clutch change though, does the JRSC installation hinder things like clutch swaps then?
Tried and didnt work. The gap is too small and it isnt 45degree angle. I have all types of silicone hosing and nothing works.JDM-BB4 wrote:I got something like this for mine and cut it to length.

yeah think you might find standard intake bit restrictive nowjudderod wrote:If your keeping the type s intake for quietness then fine but I don't think there's any point for performance now your engine is FI. Might just be easier to get an induction kit, or cut up the metal pipe from one and connect it to your airbox?
butchering a cheap intake is also a good option

The type S I take is much larger than the one I had before. Also it's a cold air intake so it will keep my iats down a little. Plus it looks better.
The charger us a blower not a compressor so it just speeds up the intake of air so I think the amount if volume the type S intake has will help. If it's only a few hp difference I'll be fine.
