well there is a problem with the throttle cable,It still stickss and takes force to open the throttle body most mornings and even after a short drive.maybe this could be the cause. How can i fix the throttle cable to stop it from sticking and idling so high.I have tried cleaning it from the inside but that did not help.I have even tried adjusting the cable a few times.. it feels good for a week then it starts to stick again after driving it a little harder than usal

thanks for the replys,Its driving me a little mad

Definitely the cable sticking, rather than the throttle butterfly?

these things nearly always turn out to be something simple if your throttle is sticking i really would start there

So I cleaned everything I should do to to help my intake system but no change atall BUT I have found the culprit I think. There is a pin hole that squrts out coolant water from my hose located from my vast idle control valve to my thermostat housing.this has to be the problem and this would explain the slight power loss surley?

So I need a new hose to see if that fixes the issue

Not sure about that, but possible, because it could be causing air locks in the fitv...
