How far out would the reading be? Maybe an electrical signal convertor?
Honestly, how far, i don't know but it can be calculated exactly ( it near 4% of difference ) A convertor is also a good solution, if i remember correctly, there's a kind of thing like that for installing an S2000 cluster on others Honda, so maybe it will work in that case. :D
Accord Type R , "what else"

I have speedohealer v4 in my bb9 with s2k cluster and it works perfect

Only adjusting it is a little hard but its possible to get it 100% right

My cluster says 1km more than on gps

Only under 30 km/h it doesnt give good readings but this is because i didnt want to adjust any more lol

4% over or under? The standard is about 10% in anycase. If it under it'll give you a more accurate reading than factory.

I don't mind it being out by such a small percentage, the ATR runs 215/45/17s and the GTR wheels I have for the Prelude have 205/45/16 tyres. According to my calculations, it'll read 4.84% lower at 80mph, and seeing as most speedos run at 10% over, it'll actually make the speedo more accurate.

So are these the bits I should be using?

As long as the speedo is about right and the speed sensitive steering is correct, that'll do.

I've not had the VSSs apart yet too see if the above is possible - pics would be appreciated

I've not mated an atr to a lude VSS, but I have combined a 4th gen auto with a 5th gen manual and they went together ok.

Plenty of people on here that have fitted a U2Q7 box to a lude... so hopefully someone should have practical experience to share!

I had to swap gears only. And speedo is about right with my GPS.

The gear at the bottom of the VSS or inside the gearbox?

Correct, I did the same - swapped only the gears.
It is impossible to do the above (use top part and lower part) because the length of axles is different.

I did it with a hammer, but it is risky, very easy to break the split side of axle. I had 3 Prelude VSSs, so I just tried and succeeded.
I would suggest to do it with a press.
