Confusingly, the type S engine is coded H22a
(but is different)
You could stick any other h22 in there. A, A2, A5, A8... All fine, just avoid the type S (easy enough considering how rare they are
)
An A5 or A8 will need the ancillaries and sensors swapping off an A or A2, for simplest install into a 4g (different OBD Yo)

Just out of interest, how much would you want for the ATTS? In the 9 years of my ownership, mine has never given fault, however I could be interested in having a spare just in in case.
Although, does anyone know if the units can actually just fail or is it more common to have a sensor issue before a unit failure?
Thanks, Charlie

thats why you need to be a hoarder like me hanging on to all sorts of rubbish just in caseRattyMcClelland wrote:I threw mine in the bin because i couldn't give it away. Even the gearbox. Now everyone wants spare Atts parts.

success is the ability to go from one failure to the next without any loss of enthusiasm
