Just to complete this...

I give myself a;

Because this happened;

And then this;
Image

And this;
Image

But because the old pump looked like this;
Image

I also had to;

...the bracket on the car and put it;
Image

And then because the car looked like this;
Image

It took this;
Image

When doing this;

So I wasn't able to do this;
Image

Or this;
Image

But I did manage to avoid doing this;
Image

And this was an extra that happened;
Image

I also saw this;
Image

Which from that angle, does rather do a bit of this;
Image

But unfortunately as expected, I didn't see any of this;
Image

Or this;
Image

Or this;
Image

Or this;
Image

(Ok, I think I'd better stop there)

Even though this shows it can happen with my Porsche;

Which would have done this;
Image

So this;

Is happening tomorrow at;

( :? can anyone spot the rather tenuous photo's in the sequence above? I think they're so subtly done that no-one will notice! ;) )

Waiting eh?

:10:

And I thoroughly enjoyed the drive there and back, too... :D

It really is great to drive this car tbh, really fantastic. Properly throaty roar, strong torquey engine, the bonnet lifts and the back hunkers down slightly when you boot it, lovely solid precise gearchange that makes you want to keep shuffling around the gears just for the feel of it and as for the twisty stuff you can feel it's a beautifully balanced car and has the most communicative well weighted steering when you're on the move. Handling feels a little squashy at first, probably because of the 15" rims and 65 profile tyres (40 psi on the back :shock:) but it grips so well and you quickly build up confidence in it and know you can feel exactly how much to put it into the corner... :D It's a real old school rear wheel drive car though, not a modern light nimble thing. Not being sexist here, but just it's the best simily I can think of... It's a real man's car to drive.

Honestly, if anyone gets the chance to drive an S (the bog standard 924 handles as well if not better but is WELL under powered), TAKE IT!

:think:
Or better still - buy mine!
(nb this is NOT a for sale thread that's in breach of the rules :P ;) there will be a proper one of those up sometime soon for anyone that is interested.)
