Scout eBay etc... and build up the parts you need over time. Then your not spunking a load of money in one go.claymore68 wrote:Rob I love your commitment to this idea but I cant afford itrob quilter wrote:just turbo it![]()

Well, there's a possibility to put a H23 head. But only if you get the parts for free or very cheap, to my mind. Because if you compare work hours, it is almost the same to drop in H22. Of course, then you'll need to change seals, etc.... So H22 is expensive, if you do it the right way.
This was done couple times, but I haven't seen any dyno chart. So no proof of decent power gain.

hey, the f20b out of a jdm accord is basically a h22 with a smaller bore and stroke (according to wiki)wurlycorner wrote:this thread reckons an f20b puts out 200bhp?
the f20a fitted to the lude is different

Correct. This was so Honda could enter the touring car since they have to be 2.0s. They used it for 300bhp all motor in the uk BTCC accord.4thgenphil wrote:hey, the f20b out of a jdm accord is basically a h22 with a smaller bore and stroke (according to wiki)wurlycorner wrote:this thread reckons an f20b puts out 200bhp?

Seems to be the case as I've looked at the numbers and H22 would be nice but to do it right starts to become costly, plus my units only done 68k so worth keeping I reckon.Froidas wrote:Well, there's a possibility to put a H23 head. Turbo seems to be well suited to the F20 but still costs quite a bit
