man that is exactly what I need to continue. thanks merlin, next step def removing radio fuse and resetting that way but think I need to inspect front and rear sensors! I hope it will be an advisory on my mot cos don't think ill get it done in next week.

go see Al @ Solidfab for a FULL custom exhaust system. expect it to set you back £900 but it's cheap considering what others charge and his workmanship is excellent

Don't worry about 4WS. Mine passed MOT with 4WS not working and dashboard light on without any advisory on it

yeah man im definitely gona give him a call and see about a custom header and downpipe. picked up cat back stainless system and have a spoon decat here too. next step will be h -tune for ecu but that's a long way away ...

really? thought advisory would of been put on at least. that's put my mind at ease

It should fail an mot with a fault light on the dash these days.

I think somebody wrote on different topic that ABS or SRS is straight fail, but law doesn't say anything about 4WS. Mine is on since I bought my car and passed 3 MOTs with no issues

Yeah well glad got srs reset! How easy is it to get new front steering angle sensor? My mechanic said he wouldn't go near fixing it cos he has never worked on 4ws car before lol.
