Sorry dude.

H22 swap would be direct swap for the engines complete with loom and then swap the ECU.
Think if you swap in the H22 engine loom, you don't need to run any extra wires for vtec because the vtec wire between the ECU plugs and the engine loom plugs is already there, it's just missing in the H23 engine loom???

:? Is that right everyone else???

Well the car is Offically dead as of today. Will be selling all the parts off in time. Gutted but hey, i can allways look on the good side of it......Wait for it.....

Im moving to the dark side. Looking for a 2.2 vtec auto 5th gen, YES 5TH GEN! :o 8-)

Going to take some time to find the best one there is for value.

Cheers guys for the help and surport on this annoying issue but thats life!

Yes head Gasket f*cked. Also lots of other things like engine wall cracked and cylinders and pistons buggered!!!!!! Just not worth repairing, would not be worth it.

What tests have been done/what's been dismantled to determine all that lot?

why not just buy my h22a engine and lsd box ;)

Also got stiffer mounts, a spoon chipped ecu , loom and my show valve cover.

straight swap, no messing about. i could swap it in a weekend ;)


+ I really need it sold lol

Im not sure if i am honest! :o But my mate who looked at it was there for an hour an half looking over it and thats what he came up with. I was inside as the heavens had opened! :roll:
