?
I heard the owner now turning 80 has left his lovey oil empire to his two sons and they are trying to squeeze it dry already and have hired a French advisor who is setting targets too high and costs etc for suppliers of their brand.

The dealer i get mine from is on his last batch of MTF for good and is running all his old Amsoil stock out cheap too,shame.

Well the first part of what you say is definitely true, Greg;

Performance Oils say they have an exclusive deal though, so I can only presume that has come about recently and that's why places like Opie can no longer supply???
@oilman can you shed any light? :D

Yep close enough,you know the word of mouth and the further it travels :lol:

Some dealers will reap while others fall.

The company i use has halved staff in 12 months and this was the nail in the head sadly for them,not just from Amsoil but the market in general and competition.

I ran into Amsoil problems a while ago, just couldn't get any. I am using Torco MTF now but Honda MTF3 will do as well.

Basically, Amsoil were being quite unrealistic. I was told that they want to supply all products by the whole shipping container and that is unrealistic for the UK market. Okay, a container of the MTF and ATF might go in a year or two, but something like the Diesel HD 15w-40 would take years to shift.

I think someone is looking at getting it back into the UK, but not sure yet. I'd think it it was here again, we'd stock it.

Cheers
