Is a replacement middle exhaust box available for red top 5g or do I have to have a stainless one built
Any recommendations for stainless exhaust manufacturers in Lancashire / Manchester area
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Its a standard exhaust leaking at joint between middle box and back-box. The garage got both parts and middle part is wrong.
I've been looking at wiki-lude on this site and cat is longer on 200bhp engine. The middle box is a different part number to every other UKDM 5G. It could be that there isn't a replacement for the middle box on 200bhp engine although if the 185bhp engine box is wrong length to fit maybe it could be modded to fit. I'm in the process of trying to fit a sleeve between old boxes to sort for MOT. Andyjess666 do you know if your stainless one is for 185 or 200bhp engine.

So you have an H22A8?
From looking at the online exhaust catalogues, it does look like they only list the one type of centre section for all prelude years (covering F20C and H22 engines).
If the H22A8 has different length cat and centre sections, then that might explain why the part came in and doesn't fit.
You could obviously fit an A5 cat and then centre section if you wanted (or buy an oem centre section - circa £200)
