Gen 5 - Induction kit
I have been toying with the idea of fitting an induction kit to my gen 5 2.2vti
I tried a couple of kits on my old EP3, it was the sound they made that made it addictive, rather than any extra (if any) performance
Any suggestions on what I should go for ?
Panel filter ?
proper induction kit ?
or, stick to standard ?
Thanks in advance

Popular choice is a type s/H22a8 airbox with a panel filter. It's quite hard to get hold of although they do pop up every now and then.

If anyone has the standard lower airbox (in the wing/bumper area) id like one - mines been removed and the extra noise is just annoying.

I'll go for the AEM V2 I think, I did enquire about someone breaking a type s 2.2, however, the air intake hose, although different to mine, didn't appear to be the same as the jdm type s' that I have seen pictured

What induction did you use in the end? Looks like aem V2 but longer than what I've seen. And did you notice any nice difference in sound/response?
