Yeah, straight swap. If it's for your H22, the H23 dizzy is an option too.

Sweet thanks guys, I think I am having the same kind of issues, trouble is I am not fit enough to be doing anything heavy at the moment so I hope it is the dizzy, same symptoms as last time, hesitation/flat, you can feel it really wants to go then holds back in a on off kind of way at the lower half of the rev range, I had cured it once by swapping the dizzy, but I think this one is playing up.
I need to get this fckr running right so I don't break down, I have little faith in it at the moment.

It's a horrible feeling that, isn't itBri wrote:I need to get this fckr running right so I don't break down, I have little faith in it at the moment.

I still have this horrible that because I've never been able to bottom out why my UKDM sometimes doesn't start (main relay symptoms but have been flatly unable to tie it down to the main relay) every time I get in it for a short journey I know that one day it will, again, completely without warning, refuse to start again and it'll do it somewhere really bloody inconvenient like at a petrol station with a queue (again) or when like a plum I stall it after reversing out from a parking spot into a queue of traffic (again), or when trying to get off the mot ramp in the middle of the test this Friday...

Or maybe when trying to get off the dyno in front of the whole national meet this saturday

bri - ive had the same issues or something similar and ive been thru a few distis in the last year so know how it feels - frustrating doesnt quite cover it.
I drove around with a spare disti in the boot until the old one went pop - it was a proud moment breaking down in the middle of town but it did feel good to be able to fit the new disit in under 10 minutes and drive off
I wonder what it would be like trying to do that on a modern car
I did also find out later on that i has a bad connection in a wire that had been trapped underneath the ecu cage - im sure you will have checked that already tho.
Keep the faith-hang in there
