Atr means it's from an Accord type r. Gearbox code is U2Q7. It's a limited slip differential box, reckoned by all to be better than the limited slip diff box that was available on preludes (code M2B4).

It's torsen LSD box which IMHO is best option available for the money. Also is quite short geared what is helping with acceleration but not so good for top speed. Very good upgrade. I have one fitted and one as a spare in my shied

By way of info, in the hope it helps your sale:

You don't have to swap the lot and get new ratios - I used the LSD from a U2Q7 (ATR) gearbox with my M2F5 original gearbox and ratios, as I didn't want the higher revs at cruising speeds. In terms of acceleration, I'm running a bit more poke than stock so it suited me better. :)

An ATR box is definitely on the list.

Which final drive did you use, the f5 or u2q7?

If he didnt want higher revs at cruising speeds it will be FD from the M2F5. The 5th gear ratio is the same in both gearboxes.
