Thanks - won't be any good for me then, this is for a UKDM H22A2. Was just thinking it might save me the problem of socketting a second ECU :lol:

Yep, it is 4WS :? But I thought JDM and UKDM ECU's weren't compatible anyway? And that 4WS made no difference to the main ECU? :? :? :? :? Have I got that arse about face then?

jdm and ukdm ecu's are interchangeable the only differences are between 3 and 4 plug ecu's afaik

and the only difference between 3 and 4 plug is traction control/no traction control

Actually you are wrong. Besides the TSC there are 2 main differences:
1. knock sensor - JDM has a board for it inside, UKDM, EUDM - don't. If you put JDM ecu on H22A2, you'll get CELL code.
2. map - H22A 200 hp, H22A2 185 hp, different CR, different cams. So different map. This one is the most important difference.

4WS ECU and engine ECU are not related at all. So don't pay attention to that "4ws".
By the way, if you can get auto ecu, it is very easy to convert to manual, done it several times.

And are you sure this is UKDM? This is JDM to my mind, because of that J letter. The best way to confirm - open it. JDM will have separate knock sensor board.
