Japfest 2014 For Sale Thread

Post by CARRisma » Sun Apr 20, 2014 6:01 pm

If anyone wants anything listed here, let me know and I'll bring it to Japfest on 10/05. Otherwise I won't be bringing it with me. Also, same goes for Mimms Honda Day 2014 on 27/04.

CAR STUFF

Honda Prelude 2.2VTI front brake calipers.
One of them is seizing up so needs attention.
£40.00.
Image

Ferodo front & rear brake pads.
For Honda Prelude 2.2VTi. Used. Lots of life left in them as you can see in the photo.
£10.00.
Image

Eicher rear brake pads.
For Honda Prelude 2.2VTi. New, unused. These were purchased as a temporary measure from Euro Car Parts (needed my car urgently) while waiting for my genuine Honda brake pads to arrive through the post. While outside fitting these, my genuine Honda brake pads arrived so these were removed and I fitted my genuine Honda brake pads. So these pads were removed from the box, one side was fitted but were then put back in the box and never used.
£10.00.
Image

Rear brake pad shims.
For Honda Prelude 2.2VTi. New, unused. These were supplied with my genuine Honda brake pads but have never been used as I'm using custom stainless steel brake pad shims. The Honda part numbers are: 43224-SP0-003 (outer) and 43225-SL5-A01 (inner). Honda charge £11.14 each so that's £44.56 for the set of four!
£10.00.
Image

AC Delco DOT 4 brake fluid.
Never used, unopened.
£5.00.
Image

Auto Glym Super Resin Polish.
Never used, unopened. £10.99 from Halfords.
£6.00.
Image

Honda Prelude high level brake light.
5G Prelude High level brake light, consisting of: Lamp unit - 34271-S30-003ZA, Socket comp - 33304-S30-003.
£5.00.
Image

Honda Prelude H22A8 exhaust tailpipe tips.
These are the tailpipe tips as supplied fitted to the H22A8 power 5G Honda Prelude 2.2VTi (1999+). Fit on to 2" diameter exhaust tailpipes. They are a cosmetic upgrade for H22A5 owners which has smaller tailpipe tips. I think the part number might be 18310-SR3-X91, if so, Honda charge £38.65 each.
£15.00.
Image

Rubber gasket / seal for 5G fuel tank level sensor / sender gauge.
Has been used but looks like it's in perfect condition to me.
Honda part number: 37801-SL0-003, RRP: £20.94 (last year) - yes, nearly £21 for a round piece of rubber!
£1.00.
Image

Large hose clamp / Jubilee clip.
I think this was actually from the air intake from my previous 1997 Honda Prelude 2.2VTi, so I think the Honda part number might be 17314-P5M-G01 (£10.55 from Honda).
£1.00.
Image

Master red key.
Belonged to my previous 1997 Honda Prelude 2.2VTi which was an insurance write off (major understeer.com). Don't know if it can be of any use to anyone?
Free.
Image

NGK Laser Platinum Spark Plugs.
Standard fit for VTEC Honda Preludes. While replacing my spark plugs last year, the torque wrench was misbehaving, subsequently, one of the spark plugs was over tightened and broke (http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/honda-p ... t8227.html). I then replaced all four again with new spark plugs, so these 3 did less than 100 miles over a period of one week. I don't know if these have been over stressed, but if anyone wants them, they can have them for free.
Free.
Image

Honda Prelude 5G service manual on CD (.pdf).
Spare copy. 5G Prelude Service Manual and other documents / TSBs on a CD.
Free.

5G low fuel level dashboard bulb & holder.
Honda part number: 37103-SD2-003, RRP: £6.67. Free to anyone who needs it. I'm not 100% sure if it works or not, but I think it does - there's a story behind it.
Free.

Are the exhaust tips same as Type-S??

I know the A8 has a bigger tip then normal, but same as a Type-S..?

If no one buys them now can you bring it to Mimms, and I can compare and if they are the same ones then I'll buy..

I really don't know, but I'll bring them along next week.

The Eicher pads do come with their own shims attached, so I assume you won't need the original Honda shims?

Thanks Nitin, but you're welcome to them. You had first dibs. See what you think when you see them.
I am not desperate for some, but will replace mine at some point as they are a bit tatty.
