4th gen smoked rear lights

Post by wurlycorner » Wed Sep 25, 2013 5:51 pm

OEM rear lights, smoked out.

Originally bought these from another member (si_import) and they look great (looked really excellent on his Silver lude), but then Project eX's de-tango'd rear lights came up and went that route instead, so now up for sale again.

The smoke effect is sprayed over the outside of the oem lights, leaving a strip of the original reflector and it's a really good/neat job. Jon had them fitted without any problem passing MOT's and Dbo gets his through ok as well, I think?

There are some very minor/light scuff marks on the smoke effect, but they're so light they don't photograph at all. A minor polish and/or wax would sort them out, I'm absolutely sure. There is also one minor scratch in the smoke effect, which you can see in the middle photo.

Can deliver to any meet I'm attending (October meets currently planned for Mimms Pt3 and Milton Keynes)

£25 posted, £15 collected/delivered to a meet.

Note: I can only usually post on a Saturday.

Have you got any pics of them on the car mate? I'm not sure about that red strip of reflector..

I think I would prefer the de-tango'd lights on the rear - but I melted mine when I attempted it :(

Only ones I've got of them on the car is when we trial fitted de-tango'd and these smoked ones on our black lude.

The red reflector strip works well with the LED strip in the spoiler.

@si import have you maybe got any pics of them on your old car by any chance? I've had a look around on LG and PUK and I can't find any :(

I can't decide which I prefer ..on the black car I think I like the dark lenses but on my white one I think a de-tango'd pair will look better. Cheers for the pics tho Wurly

Funny, I think the opposite!
We preferred de-tango'd on the black and smoked on a light coloured car. The contrast looks 8-)

If you're going to mimms and they haven't sold by then, I can bring them with me and you're more than welcome to try 'em out for size, if you like.
