2.3i Stainless Exhaust Manifold
Just found this on ebay..
HONDA PRELUDE SI 2.3L 92-96 STAINLESS EXHAUST MANIFOLD
Are there any exhaust nerds that could tell me if it's any good - or a complete sack of bum droppings?
Thanks chaps!

Vtecmec wrote:I had bad experiences with a cheap 304 manifold similar to that, the mounting bracket broke within 1,000 miles, and needed re-welding, and after 3 years the whole thing had rotten and cracked very badly.

Damn! I think I'll wait and spend a little more on a better quality branded one later!
It's not an essential, rebuilding the engine is more important right now.
I just thought I had spotted a little bargain I could tuck away for fitting when I'm done..
Thanks for the heads-up!

the stainless varies between manufacturers, so some rust badly others just discolour. The weak point is the rear engine bracket and it will rip out at some point leaving a hole, which will need rewelding. I just didn't attach that bracket mine was good for a long time, the engine went before the manifold.4th Gen Doug wrote:Sweet - thanks bud!

They are not really an upgrade though just good if you need a cheap and cheerfull replacement
