ABS 4ws and error code help

Ah, no. I meant if yours is, say, a '93 2.2 and you you find a '96 2.0 with ABS, the sensors would fit fine.

You can swap the rears over between sides (swap all the brackets and move the clamps) but not front to back.

Cool that makes sense. Would this mean that non 4ws ABS sensors would also work ?

Gonna try this at the weekend once i have the parts. I have ramps for working on underneath the car but no axle stands yet. Is there any other option for holding the car up with a wheel off? I ask as i have never particularly liked the look of axle stands, they seem no better than leaving the car on a jack ( although i would never go under a car on a jack either) .

ABS sensor from a non 4WS car would definitely also work fine.



(I'm not sure if a sensor from a 4WS but non-ABS car would work because I've never seen one, but a) I assume they're the same, b) if you find one of those I'll be amazed because they're rare as - only 1 maybe 2 that I know of on the forum)
