Brake disks and pads

Post by kris_aka_edu » Thu Aug 01, 2013 4:02 pm

Right guys, just had my MOT today and as I thought an advisory was disks and pads. They are pretty bad to be fair.
I need to get some new ones and been looking on eBay for them, everything is either 2.0 or 2.3. Hardly any 2.2 and when I've put a link on here they've been wrong size.

I know euro parts have been recommended and £37.00 a disk and then pads is over my budget this month after my tax too. Has any one got pads and disks or just disks for 4th gen 2.2 JDM (4 stud)? Any one going national meet and could possibly pop them on there would be amazing.

Let me know ASAP.

Edu

I've got some discs mate just taken them off my car to fit the drilled and grooved discs but I've had to whack them with a hammer to get them off so may not be ideal

There are a few small dents from the hammer so this might cause some vibrations ill bring them and let the experts decide

I only need front, I've got W1ggz 2nd hand disks in the boot, after the 300 miles drive and the blast about the country roads at the meet my pads on the drivers side is now rubbing and engraving the already cracked disk. It looks and sounds horrible!

Need pads ASAP! Recommendations? Will order now!

I've gone for the cheap option and just bought these, first time I've ever bought something off eBay with no picture but good feedback, so I'm hoping these will do the job.

Couldn't say no to the price, if they fit and work it's a bargain!

Hope they're ok.
Seller tries very hard to hide all relevant info (even all the feedback has the item descriptions hidden so you can't track back to tie anything down). Let us know what make they are when they turn up.

If it helps, 2.3 is the same brake setup as the 2.2 VTEC man.

[edit] just spotted the same in your auction - 2.3 and 2.2 fitment.
