RbF600 again buddy. Works a treat on track.
Get shot of the redstuff. Ebc pads are cack.
Ive had redstuff and blues fracture across the face and killed a set of blues in less than 5 20min sessions.

Sorry to steel this but just tracked the lure today - new discs and pads, about 70laps in i opened her up on the straight went to break locked the breaks for a second then there was no breaking the pedal went right down with no resistance and i hit a tyre wall... i was ok the lure was better than expected but had the floppy pedal... left it about 10 mins the bled the breaks seemed ok then... any idea what may have caused this as could be dangerous!

When did you last change brake fluid? If its old and it's boiling point has dropped enough it may have boiled. Most garages can check it for you.

My brakes were like this halfway through my last track day after about the 4th lap I've put it down to boiling the fluid and they are still a little spongy now. I have new fluid arriving tommorrow hopefully this will cure it.

I missed the 70 laps in in the original post.
That's some really serious work those brakes had been put through by then, so yep bound to be overheating related. (everything probably after doing that many laps!)

sorry should have said it was a really short track 3/4 mile so wasn't as epic as it sounds - only used 3/4tank of fuel as well! since I've had it never change the fluid and it looks pretty horrible so my behaviour sounds like boiling fluid? i will get some mogul dot 4 if thats what you guys think?
