Tomorrow i have the opportunity to shot blast and paint my type s 5 spoke alloy wheels. What are peoples suggestions about the colour? I was thinking gold with a smoke laquer.

On your black car you can either do something like a dark colour (gunmetal, anthracite)

Or

Do something really bright (like orange, Red, green etc)

As tempting as it is to go with what Nitin has said (the gun metal, anthracite) it's been done a lot. Same with bronze.

Maybe go with something different?

I don't really have a suggestion

Maybe the slightly off-white Honda colour (see it on Tegs etc.) could look good against a black body?

:?
Not a fan of satin black wheels myself. Especially on a black car. Think they just look cheap and very 'home-made'...

White, gun-metal, silver or bronze I'd say.

(But bronze has been done a lot and I expect you want something more interesting than silver :? )
Or as others have said, something garish like bright green does look good on black cars. I've seen black 200sx's with luminous pink wheels and they look drokking awesome.

Ok, I've been no help at all

I like the alloys you've currently got on the motor tbh
