I had to go to the post office at lunch time today. So I jumped into the Bighorn and off to the high street I went. Being a lazy dancer I wanted to park outside, and joy of joy there was a bay free outside :cool: it's a one way street, a single lane with parallel bays running down both sides. The free space was a tad larger than my truck so in I go, one nice smooth manoeuvre and I'm in :) did my postal shizz, come back out to my truck. A bloke in a Mondeo spots me, and waits for me to leave my space. I had to stop at a junction about 50 yards down the road, checked my rear view mirror and he was having a right drama getting in to the space :roll: :lol: I had a fair old wait at the junction and he took a good few tries to finally get in to a perfectly adequate space. The mind boggles at how people can be flummoxed by such simple stuff :?

Being a disabled driver who needs to open my door wide I always get that sort of pillock that wants to cosy up to my drivers side. Other disabled drivers are even more guilty of that as they seem to think the yellow hatching between bays is for parking in. So if you see in the news from Bristol that two old geezers were arrested for fighting with elbow crutches and walking sticks don't be surprised if one is not me!

Somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen. It said, 'Parking Fine.'
So that was nice.
